Flat hat trunk, monogrammed with the Bigot-Morand brand

The BIGOT company, located at 25 rue Duphot in Paris, was a manufacturer specializing in travel trunks and luxury packaging at the turn of the 20th century. Probably founded in the late 19th century, it was later managed by a successor named Morand. This company offered exchange, repair, and sales services for trunks, suitcases, baskets, crates, and travel goods to a bourgeois or aristocratic clientele, often foreign.

The brand stood out for its prestigious location near the Madeleine and its positioning in the booming market for elegant travel during the Belle Époque.
