Here is a magnificent Louis Vuitton wardrobe trunk in orange Vuittonite, a canvas used by the House of Vuitton in the early 20th century for its exceptional resistance to travel.

This wardrobe trunk is a true piece of travel furniture:

• Wooden frame covered in orange Vuittonite

• Leather trim and reinforcements with a patina acquired over time

• Hanging space for men's clothing with hangers

• Complete set of drawers for linens and accessories

• Original fittings and hardware

The trunk is entirely original.

In the interest of historical accuracy, we simply recreated the drawer handles that had disappeared.

The rest is strictly authentic, with that patina that only time and travel can create.

In its heyday, these trunks accompanied their owners in grand hotels, on transatlantic ocean liners, and on luxury trains.
